My Fantasy

It’s one o’clock in the morning

And I’m still thinking of you.

I’ve been lying on this bed,

Wondering what I should do.

I’ve been spacing out since you called,

Recalling what I was told.

Your sweet whispers,

I can’t seem to let go.

Two times you told me

You like me for real.

But I wasn’t listening

It seems so surreal.

Just wake me up

‘Coz it must be a dream.

Wake me up,

Before my heart screams.

The three words you said,

Mean the whole world to me.

And I just couldn’t let them snatch it away.

‘Forever’ you said,

Made my heart feel secure.

If you could just take me far, far away.

This is the fourth time

Your hand touches mine.

Our eyes met

Like it has frozen time.

Please tell me again

That I heard it right.

You are my prince

And you are my knight.

The fifth time we met

Seems like a fairytale to me.

I was your princess,

All I ever wanted to be.

You held me close,

You danced with me,

You smiled like I’m the only one you see.
